Psychophysics is of two types: subjective psychophysics and objective psychophysics 31/ The laws and methods of objective psychophysics focused on measuring the function of sensation or the threshold of sense only, and did not focus on measuring the function of perception or the threshold of detection, and it also overlooked the role of the cognitive and emotional component in responding to sensory signals. |
