It is a deviation from the norm in the development of a child due to deficiencies in upbringing. B.N.’s reasons can include – lack of proper upbringing in the family, frequent changes in educational institutions and teachers, insufficient attention from teachers to the retarded child, absenteeism from school classes, the negative impact of informal communication, and lack of supervision. Usually, with proper pedagogical assistance, children with P. N. become retarded students. These children need additional help in their studies and special attention to their overall development.
