Emotional contagion

the ability to adopt, experience the emotional charge of the surrounding atmosphere or people. At the same time, the emotional state or its external signs (in the situation of recognition) as a result of perception are transferred to the person, who eventually feels the same. In social psychology, emotional contagion is considered as a mechanism for transmitting a mental mood to other people from one person or a group of people, emotional impact in conditions of direct contact, and inclusion of a person in certain mental states.
