Executive Function Assessment Questionnaire (BRIEF)

A standardized tool for assessing executive function in children and adolescents. It assesses a wide range of behaviors related to cognitive processes, such as planning, organizing, problem-solving, impulse control, and self-control. The BRIEF is usually filled out by parents, teachers or other caregivers who assess the child’s behaviour in everyday situations. This tool is particularly useful for identifying executive deficits in children with conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. Includes a variety of scales that measure suppression, shift, emotional control, and other executive functions, allowing for a comprehensive assessment.
