Bailey Infant and Toddler Development Scale
A standardized tool used to assess the development of infants and toddlers between the ages of 1 month and 42 months. It assesses three main areas of development: cognitive, language, and motor activity, and provides information about the child’s social-emotional development and adaptive behavior. Assessment is done using a combination of observation and direct testing, with tasks aimed at assessing problem-solving, communication, and physical coordination. The results help identify developmental delays or impairments and develop early intervention strategies.
