Aachen Aphasia Test (AAT)

A diagnostic tool for assessing and detecting various forms of aphasia used to diagnose speech disorders in patients with brain lesions. The test includes tasks aimed at assessing such functions as speech comprehension, repetition of words and phrases, articulation, reading and writing. AAT helps to determine the type of aphasia (motor, sensory, global) and assess the severity of the speech disorder. The test is widely used both in clinical practice and in scientific research to monitor changes in the course of treatment or rehabilitation.
