Afferent agraphia
A form of acquired writing disorder that occurs due to a deficit in sensory feedback involved in the writing process. Patients with this condition have difficulty writing due to impaired proprioception (awareness of the position of the hand) or tactile feedback, despite preserved motor functions. It is usually associated with damage to the parietal lobe, in particular the areas responsible for sensory processing and integration.
