Agraphia

acquired neuropsychological disorder, manifested by partial or complete loss of the ability to write while maintaining motor functions and understanding speech. It occurs when the areas of the brain associated with speech are affected, most often in the left hemisphere (for example, in the inferior parietal or frontal gyrus).
