Alcohol Abuse
a chronic, gradually progressive disease associated with loss of control over alcohol consumption. Alcohol becomes an integral part of a person’s life, a way to cope with stress, joy, sadness, loneliness – any emotional state. In this, as in many other dependencies, a person gradually loses the ability to limit doses (in this case, alcohol), as a result of which all spheres of life suffer: health, social contacts, and psycho-emotional state.
