Allographic errors
errors associated with the incorrect use of different forms of writing the same symbol (allograph). For example, an error can occur when a person, trying to write a letter, uses its incorrect form, such as lowercase instead of uppercase or vice versa. Allographic errors can occur in various cognitive disorders, such as dysgraphia, writing disorders, as well as in some neurological diseases. For example, a person may mistakenly spell “A” as “a” or “C” as “c” despite maintaining a general awareness of the correct shape.
