Ambiversion

the third integral psychotype of personality, characterized by an equal combination of extraversion and introversion traits. According to many researchers, this mixed personality type is much more common than pure introversion and extroversion. Many researchers believe that ambiverts are the most psychologically stable type. They are less introverted and extroverted and prone to emotional burnout. The high level of adaptability of ambiverts is associated with more mature defense mechanisms than those of introverts and extroverts, who may face circumstances that require personality traits from the opposite end of the introvert-ambivert-extrovert spectrum.
