A disorder in which a person loses the ability to express their emotions and thoughts through facial expressions. In anemia, there is a lack or significant reduction in the severity of facial movements, which may be due to damage to areas of the brain responsible for controlling facial muscles, such as the basal ganglia.The condition is often found in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.
