(also known as apathetic-abulic syndrome) is a psychopathological syndrome that combines apathy and abulia and is characterized by a pronounced emotional-volitional impoverishment, indifference with a sharp weakening or complete loss of motivation for activity. It is a manifestation of negative (deficit) symptoms in psychiatry. Most often caused by a simple form of schizophrenia.
