A visual disorder in which a person is unable to perceive depth or three-dimensional structure despite having normal vision in each eye. Astereopsia can result from conditions such as strabismus (strabismus), amblyopia (lazy eye), or damage to areas of the brain involved in visual processing, such as the parietal or occipital lobe.
