Benson Complex Body Test
A neuropsychological tool used to assess visuospatial abilities and memory. During the test, a person is shown a complex geometric shape, which he needs to copy and then reproduce from memory. The test aims to assess a person’s ability to integrate visual information, as well as to assess short-term visual memory and spatial organization skills. It is often used in the evaluation of conditions that affect cognitive function, such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and traumatic brain injury (TBI). The test helps identify impairments in the ability to process complex visual information and is often used in conjunction with other cognitive tests to provide a more complete picture of cognitive health.
