Benton Eye Hold Test (BVRT)

A neuropsychological test designed to assess visual memory and spatial perception. It consists of a series of geometric shapes that are shown to the individual for a short time. After the figures are removed, the person is asked to reproduce them from memory. The test is used to assess the ability to retain and recall visual information, as well as to assess visual learning, short-term memory, and spatial organization. It is often used in the evaluation of traumatic brain injuries, dementia, stroke, and neurological disorders. The Benton test helps identify visual memory deficits and provides important information about cognitive function.
