Broca’s aphasia

A type of aphasia with impaired fluency, characterized by difficulty producing speech, poor articulation, slow speech, and strained utterance. Although speech comprehension is usually preserved, people with Broca’s aphasia have difficulty constructing grammatically correct sentences and often omit functional words such as “is” or “this” condition is usually associated with damage to the left frontal lobe, specifically Broca’s area.
