structural subdivisions of the medical and social assessment service in Russia, which conduct medical and social examination of patients with various diseases, disorders and consequences of injuries. Depending on the level and structure of morbidity and disability, bureaus of general profile, specialized profile (psychiatric, oncological, tuberculosis, etc.) and mixed profiles are formed. Specialized bureaus may be formed to conduct medical and social expertise of persons under the age of 18. The staff standard of the ITU Bureau includes specialists who make expert decisions (three doctors of various specialties), as well as a rehabilitation specialist, a social work specialist and a psychologist. If necessary, pediatricians, specialists in functional diagnostics, career guidance, ergonomics, physiology of work, a teacher, a sign language interpreter and other specialists can be included in the staff standard of the bureau.
