Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ)

diagnostic test, which was developed in 1992 by American psychologists A. Bass and M. Perry to diagnose the tendency to aggression. The technique was created to replace the Bass-Durkee Hostility Questionnaire (BDHI), which caused comments from specialists. The original method contains 29 questions and four scales (physical aggression, anger, hostility, verbal aggression). The questionnaire is used in clinical practice by psychologists and psychotherapists to assess the level of aggression in patients, as well as to monitor changes in the process of therapy. In scientific research, to study aggressive behavior, its causes and consequences, as well as to develop strategies to reduce it.
