A neuropsychological disorder characterized by writing disorders due to damage to the areas of the brain responsible for processing speech information. It is manifested by difficulties with spelling, grammar and word selection. More often it occurs after lesions of the dominant hemisphere, for example, in stroke or traumatic brain injury, affecting the central linguistic components of writing.
