Cognitive Overload and Its Impact on Students’ Comprehension
A condition in which students feel overwhelmed by a huge amount of information that exceeds their ability to absorb and process it, leading to mental fatigue and poor academic performance. This overload often occurs when learning material is delivered too quickly or intensely, without interruptions and repetitions. In order to overcome the phenomenon, information must be thoughtfully organized, the content must be presented in a variety of ways, and sufficient time must be allocated for its processing and consolidation.
