Comprehensive test batteries
are aimed at assessing all higher mental functions and basic cognitive functions in children:
1) NEPSY-II (Korkman, Kirk, Kemp) is a comprehensive assessment of the neurocognitive development of children and adolescents from 3 to 16 years old, one of the most popular Western tests. The test includes 32 subtests that assess six areas:
– Attention and Executive Functions.
–Speech.
– Memory and learning.
– Sensorimotor functioning.
– Visual-spatial processing.
– Social perception.
It provides age-comparable normative results and helps to accurately identify dysfunction.
2) The children’s version of the Halsted-Reitan neuropsychological test (HRNB) is a comprehensive assessment of perception, attention, and sensorimotor functions. It is widely used to detect acquired or developing neurological disorders.
