1) False reproduction of information, which is characterized by the unification in an image or concept of parts belonging to different objects.
2) Erroneous reproduction of words, which consists in combining syllables related to different words into one word. For example, instead of the words “belok” and “whistle”, it is pronounced “beltok”. Similar permutations can also occur when reproducing lists of words, when words from one list are reproduced in another. Contamination is facilitated by the semantic and phonetic proximity of words, it is based on the phenomena of proactive and retroactive interference. The semantic organization of the material prevents its appearance. It occurs in sensory aphasia.
