Correctional and educational work
a system of special comprehensive measures of pedagogical influence aimed at eliminating or smoothing disorders in the development of cognitive activity and physical development of the child, at various features of the development of the personality of children with special needs, since any disorder does not negatively affect a separate function, but reduces the social fullness of the child in all its manifestations. Educational training is not reduced to mechanical exercises of elementary functions or special exercises, but embraces the entire educational process and the entire system of activities of special institutions. All forms and types of classroom and extracurricular work in the process of forming general educational and labor knowledge, skills and abilities in schoolchildren are subordinated to the correctional and educational task.
