Crisis of family relationships

a period of deterioration in marital relations caused by natural changes in the family cycle or traumatic events. Crises are divided into:
1) Normative – arise as a result of natural events: the beginning of a life together, the birth of a child, etc.; are manifested by a gradual increase in discomfort and the need to change previous relationships.
2) Non-normative (situational) – caused by negative life events that arise suddenly: infidelity, divorce, death or serious illness; Problems develop rapidly, are accompanied by conflict and/or strong alienation.
