Curative pedagogy

a branch of pedagogy that studies the patterns of influence on a child with developmental disabilities by pedagogical methods in order to transfer him from the state of interoception (the influence of pathological impulses coming from disturbed organs and systems) to the state of exteroception (the impact of impulses coming from the external environment). Basically, curative pedagogy deals with children with severe disabilities and involves both a gentle attitude towards them and their active work.
