Deaf-blindness

The most severe form of a complex disorder, which is characterized by damage to the visual and auditory analyzers. Deaf-blind children do not develop speech without special training. The obsolete term “deaf-blindness” has been replaced in modern science by the concept of “deaf-blindness”, since the education of children with this complex disorder has demonstrated the possibility of forming not only tactile and written speech, but also oral speech.
