Demonstrativeness
emphasized, but without absurdity, pantomime, expressiveness of emotional, intonational, motor manifestations with the conscious or unconscious goal of attracting (most often benevolent, sympathetic) attention of others. In children, demonstrativeness most often serves as an expression of emotional deprivation in which the child is due to the lack of a sense of affection, love, and care from loved ones.
