ADI-R focuses on three main areas: social interaction, communication, and restricted or repetitive behaviors. The assessment includes standardized questions and behavioral observations to gather information about the individual’s development and current functioning. This tool is often used in conjunction with other methods, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observational Survey (ADOS), for a more comprehensive assessment.
