Differential Diagnostic Direction of Professional Development
An approach to professional counseling based on the principle of compliance of individual characteristics of a person with the requirements of the profession. It was developed by F. Parsons and developed in the works of Russian psychologists. This approach involves diagnosing abilities, interests, personal qualities and comparing them with professiograms. In the modern interpretation, it is supplemented by taking into account the dynamics of personality development, motivational factors, and socio-economic conditions.
