Digital identity

cumulative awareness and experience of one’s competence, identity and uniqueness in the world of digital technologies, including a value-based attitude towards oneself, other people, information and the Internet as a whole, characterized by purposefulness of action and the ability to fully solve problems using digital technologies, accompanied by the formation of new meanings of activity. Digital identity arises as an awareness of oneself and one’s role in the structure of the corresponding technologies, the unity of the virtual self and the real self, as a cumulative perception of oneself in the unity of the real world and the virtual world. In other words, a person, finding himself in search of himself, does not build the corresponding processes in the digital space from scratch. Understanding himself as an integral part of the virtual world, a person at the same time – consciously or unconsciously – “continues”, demonstrates here the qualities related to his deep personal levels and to real being.
