Disorientation syndrome

a pathological condition characterized by a loss of orientation in space, time and one’s own personality. Patients experience significant difficulties in identifying the area, are unable to determine the current date and time of day, and lose the sense of belonging to their own body. The causes of the syndrome can be brain lesions, intoxication, Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic skull injuries and severe infectious diseases. Restoration of lost landmarks is often a long and difficult process, often accompanied by complications.
