Dissociative Identity Disorder
It is a condition in which a person has two or more different identities or personalities that periodically “switch” and control behavior and perceptions.
Treatment: Treatment involves intensive, long-term psychotherapy. It often uses eye movement desensitization and reprocessing or trauma recovery therapy. The therapist works to integrate different personalities and increase awareness.
