Dorsal midbrain syndrome, also known as Parinaud syndrome,
A neurological disorder caused by lesions of the dorsal part of the midbrain. It is characterized by paralysis of the vertical gaze, divergence of the pupils’ reaction to light and accommodation, eyelid retraction and nystagmus with convergence and retraction.
