Dysmetria of thinking

Cerebellar cognitive impairment, in which a person has difficulty regulating the accuracy, pace, and coordination of thought processes, similar to how motor dysmetria manifests itself as impaired amplitude and coordination of movements. It can manifest as disorganized thinking, reduced control over cognitive activity, or difficulty switching between mental tasks. This phenomenon is considered within the framework of the cerebellar cognitive-affective syndrome and emphasizes the participation of the cerebellum not only in motor skills, but also in higher mental functions.
