Dysmnestic attack
A type of focal epileptic seizure, the most significant manifestation of which is memory impairment, usually as a result of neuronal discharges involving the old cortex (hippocampus). This includes milder disturbances – the feeling of what has already been seen, already heard, already experienced, never seen, never heard, never experienced – and deeper ones: hallucinatory epileptic seizures, panoramic vision.
