Echomnesia (reduplication of Pick’s paramnesia)
a type of paramnesia, memory deception, in which an event, fact or experience appears doubled or tripled in the memory. Current events are projected simultaneously into the present (adequately) and into the past, which leads to the conviction that the event has already taken place once. Echomnesia, however, are not substitutive in dysmnestic disorders.
