Ecological stimulation according to Jung
The natural tendency of a person to look for variety, change and new experiences in the environment in order to achieve psychological arousal and inner balance. This theory is part of Jung’s concept of analytical psychology, which states that a person needs a certain level of external stimulation to maintain psychological health and personal integrity, as boredom or monotony can lead to anxiety, tension, or feelings of psychological emptiness.
