Embryo transfer (PE)
the final stage of the in vitro fertilization (IVF) program. It consists in the introduction of embryos into the uterine cavity at any stage of their development from the 1st to the 7th day after IVF or ICSI, or thawed embryos. There are two options for transfer:
1) In the same cycle as the main stages of treatment: eggs are fertilized, observed for several days, decide which ones need to be transplanted, and transfer them to the uterus.
2) In a separate cycle: embryos preserved through cryopreservation are used and hormone therapy is carried out to prepare the endometrium for pregnancy.
