Employee reliability
the ability of a person to accurately perform professional functions for a certain time under given conditions. In engineering psychology, it is considered as a probabilistic characteristic that depends on qualification, psychophysiological state, motivation, and conditions of activity. It includes: reliability, readiness, recoverability – as the main indicators. Reliability is increased through a system of professional selection, training, optimization of working conditions, monitoring of the functional state, and redundancy of critical functions.
