Environmental influences
environmental factors that surround a person and affect his behavior, performance and mood, whether physical, sensory, social or cultural. They directly or indirectly affect a person’s response and interaction with the environment and can be positive or negative depending on their nature and the way they interact with it. The influence of environmental factors on a person:
1) Mental health. A comfortable and supportive environment reduces stress and stimulates a sense of well-being. A crowded or polluted environment increases anxiety and psychological exhaustion.
2) Behavior and performance. Positive stimuli of the environment increase concentration and creativity. Negative stimuli, such as noise or overcrowding, reduce productivity and increase anxiety.
3) Social adaptation. A socially supportive environment fosters collaboration and belonging. A strict or conflictual environment promotes aggression or isolation.
