Ethnopsychology

is an interdisciplinary science that studies the psychological features and patterns of the development of the psyche of people of different peoples and ethnic groups. It studies national psychological characteristics, such as the features of perception, behavior, emotional reactions, national identity and ethnic stereotypes, as well as socio-psychological phenomena associated with ethnic communities.
This field includes knowledge from psychology, ethnology, sociology, cultural studies and linguistics. Ethnopsychology examines the collective psychological features that distinguish some peoples from others and affect their behavior and interethnic relations.
