Executive Function Assessment Rapid Interview (EXIT25)
A concise standardized test used in older adults to detect impairment of executive function, especially in dementia and other cognitive disorders. It includes 25 tasks that assess planning, sequence of actions, verbal fluency, inhibition and abstract thinking. The maximum score is 50; higher values reflect a more pronounced impairment of executive functions. EXIT25 is often used in conjunction with other cognitive scales to comprehensively assess a patient’s mental state.
