Expressive aphasia
A speech disorder in which a person’s ability to speak, write, and express themselves is impaired due to damage to the brain’s speech centers, such as Broca’s area. In psychology, this condition is studied as an example of a disorder of language function and behavior, where the patient understands speech but has difficulty finding words, speaks slowly, in short phrases, and may also have difficulty with articulation, reading, and writing
