Extent of human environmental impact

the extent to which the environment affects the physical and psychological state of a person:
1) Physical impact: climate (heat, cold, humidity) affects physical activity and mood, the availability of resources (water, food, clean air) affects human health and vitality, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods) leave deep psychological and social consequences.
2) Health effects: Environmental pollution (air, water, noise) causes somatic diseases (e.g., respiratory diseases) and psychological disorders, a balanced environment promotes normative physical growth and psychological well-being.
3) Psychological and behavioral impact: crowded and noisy places can lead to nervousness and decreased concentration, open, quiet, natural spaces contribute to psychological comfort and creativity, family, school and social environment form a person’s personality, values and relationships.
4) Socio-cultural impacts: values, customs and traditions inherited from the social environment determine patterns of acceptable and unacceptable behaviour, the work environment determines a person’s opportunities for growth or can create pressures that limit opportunities.
5) Economic and political impact: Poverty or lack of social justice limits opportunities and affects people’s mental health, political and economic stability strengthens a sense of security and leads to positive personal and social development.
