Family crisis
a state of the family system characterized by a violation of homeostatic processes that lead to frustration of the usual ways of family functioning and the inability to cope with a new situation using old models of behavior. The characteristics of a family crisis are:
1) Aggravation of situational contradictions in the family;
2) Disorder of the entire system and all the processes occurring in it;
3) Growing instability in the family system;
4) Generalization of the crisis: the impact of the crisis extends to the entire range of family relations and interactions.
