Family roles
certain social patterns of behavior expected from a family member. They correspond to the specific functions of the family and are determined by the place and functions of the individual in the family system. It is important that the roles performed correspond to the capabilities of the family member: when the demands are unbearable, nervous and mental tension and anxiety arise. Conventional and interpersonal roles are distinguished:
1) Conventional – prescribed by the socio-cultural environment, establish permanent rights and obligations of family members, regulated by law, morality, traditions;
2) Interpersonal – individualized, formed by the nature of interpersonal relations in the family, unique family experience.
