Famous Face Recognition Test

A neuropsychological technique designed to assess the ability to recognize and identify famous people from photographs. It tests both the perception of faces and semantic memory, requiring the participant to name a person or provide information about him. The test is often used to detect disorders such as prosopagnosia, semantic dementia, or memory deficits after traumatic brain injury. Results may depend on the cultural context and the level of recognition of the individuals represented.
