French Dysarthria Assessment Test, Second Edition (FDA-2)

A standardized clinical tool for detecting and assessing the severity of dysarthria, a motor speech disorder caused by neurological damage. It examines speech function in several ways: reflexes, breathing, lips, palate, larynx, tongue, and speech intelligibility, as well as factors such as posture and facial muscles. The test includes both observation and tasking, allowing you to create a profile of the patient’s strengths and weaknesses for diagnosis and therapy planning. FDA-2 is widely used in speech therapy both for the initial assessment and for monitoring the dynamics of treatment.
