Game

a special form of activity, the distinctive features of which are the performance of actions and the experience of feelings in an imaginary plane. The game develops from an object (processual) game through a role-playing game to a game with rules. Types of games:
1) procedural (object) play is a kind of children’s play activity, characteristic of early age, the essence of which is to master the meanings of objects of the surrounding world through conditional actions with a toy-character, is a stage in the development of story-role-playing play of preschoolers;
2) role-playing game (role-playing, creative) – leading activity up to school age, in its expanded form it is an activity in which children take on the roles of adults and in a generalized form in specially created game conditions reproduce the activities of adults and relations between them;
3) a game with rules – a group or pair game, in which the actions of the participants and their relationships are regulated by rules that are mandatory for all players;
4) didactic game – a specially created game that performs a certain didactic task hidden from the child in a game situation behind game actions;
5) a dramatization game is based on the plot scheme of a literary work or fairy tale. The plot of such a game to a greater or lesser extent repeats the plot of the work chosen by the children; the roles correspond to the characters of the work being played;
6) director’s game is a special type of individual game, which is built by the child in two planes: for himself as a director and for a toy endowed with a certain role.
